Facilitated by Houston Community Council, a group of us met this morning and agreed to set up “Houston Community Growing Association”

We are very lucky that Houston Farms have kindly offered the community the use of some land for our project. Whilst there will be a lot of work to assess the suitability of the site and make it fit for purpose, we are excited to have been presented with this opportunity.

Those of you who have already expressed an interest through Houston Community Council, but were unable to attend today, there is no need to get back in touch.

We aim to meet again in early/mid January to progress with setting up the Association and making initial plans.
