We had a lovely afternoon today darning and repairing textiles at Linwood library. We were joined by local residents who enjoyed the drop in session and were keen for us to come back another time. A lot of socks were darned, some clothes fixed and embroidered and we even had a very special guest – Book Bug! We are keen to hear from people in Linwood if they have an interest in a regular Repair Cafe and maybe even a Library of Things – where high cost items that are not often used can be borrowed (such as camping equipment, tools, toys etc).
